No one in our community should go hungry.

We rescue perfectly good food — dented cans, short-dated items, surplus produce — and get it to families who need it. Every week, rain or shine.

What we do

Food rescue, not charity.

We partner with local grocery stores, restaurants, and farms to collect nutritious food that would otherwise go to waste. Items with cosmetic imperfections, approaching sell-by dates, or surplus inventory — all perfectly safe, all free of charge.

Every week, our volunteer team collects, sorts, and distributes this food directly to families and individuals. No paperwork, no registration, no questions asked. We believe access to food is a right, not a privilege.

How it started

One minivan. One neighborhood.

In 2018, a small group of neighbors noticed something that bothered them: local grocery stores were throwing away perfectly good food. Cans with minor dents. Produce with cosmetic blemishes. Items a day from their sell-by date.

They started a weekend pickup route with a single minivan. That first Saturday, they served 12 families.

Today, we partner with 20+ local businesses, coordinate 100+ active volunteers, and distribute 35,000 pounds of rescued food every month to over 1,500 families.

But our work goes beyond food. We host community meals, run youth nutrition programs, and build partnerships that make our neighborhood stronger. Because being a good neighbor means more than sharing food — it means sharing hope.

Our people

100+ volunteers. One mission.

From retirees who show up every Saturday at 7 AM, to high school students logging community service hours, to working parents who carve out time from their weekends — our volunteers are the backbone of everything we do.
